A Tale of the Inquisition is a historic tragedy that has its foundation on a gestural and physical theatre. Inspired by true events, Marrano came to be through a work of collective creation by La Percha Theatre, where they tell the story of Uriel, a Jew born in Seville of the 15th century, and whose life turns upside down when the Inquisition arrives at the city. A creation where gestural work, live music and words become the protagonists. A physical and avant-garde language that approaches our history from a innovative theatrical perspective.
This performance will be in Spanish with English subtitles.
