Artist Statement:

For years, Casey Lyons dreamed of writing a musical. Two years ago, he actually started doing it. He spent hours writing and re-writing and really became inspired when he started working for Andrew Lloyd Webber. Casey was cast as Gustave in the first national tour of Love Never Dies, the sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. A 12 year old was suddenly immersed in an environment with wildly creative and talented people that pushed him forward. While on tour, he started writing, sharing back and forth the script that he was writing with his friend back home, Caroline Miller (who is now the director of the show). The script and music came together slowly. Returning home, Casey and 3 of his friends formed a theater company called Four Seasons that started performing concerts in parks and backyards to raise money for charity. This full musical is their most ambitious performance yet.

All of the proceeds from this production go to Saving Tiny Hearts, an organization that raises funding to fight Congenital Heart Disease, the #1 birth defect. This foundation is close to Casey’s heart as his 7-month old niece Ruthie is preparing for open heart surgery.

Running Time: 1 hour 15 minutes with intermission
