In this one-person documentary play, writer Fran Zell draws on recent experiences as a volunteer with asylum seekers living at police stations in Chicago. She mixes humor with pathos to share stories about people who left their country in desperation for a better life and who indelibly touched her life.

A second one act depicts one asylum seeker's journey, a story of loss, grief, mortal danger and always hope.

Running Time: 1 hour 30 minutes with intermission
