Award-winning Chicago-based origami artist Christine Edison collaborates with SGT to create unique and fluid works of art which fill the space.

Three fascinating, imperfect people are trying to get better at being alive; Ilana, a world famous origami artist, barricades herself in her windowless studio with Sichuan beef take-out; Andy, a calculus teacher and avid origami fan, lists over 7,000 blessings in a small black book; Suresh, a teenage origami whiz, freestyles with ease through crease patterns and has trouble with boundaries. This intriguing trio begins to mold and shape each other's lives in much the same way they fold and crease their origami art. Animals Out of Paper is "a love story, but with three people's hearts involved" (Devon de Mayo, Director).

"Mr. Joseph's observant, pitch-perfect script...is really quite ambitious, dealing ruthlessly...with the fragility of happiness, the tragedy of impulsiveness and the tenuousness of hope." - The New York Times
